CPE Structural Consultants Limited commenced operation on January 1, 2004 with six employees including the current partners. The quality of our work and service has fostered long-term relationships with repeat clients.

Renee Tang

Renee became a partner in 2010, responsible for design, coordination, drafting and site supervision.

Our Team

CPE's team consists of 12 engineers, BIM modelers and administrative staff. More than half of our team has been with CPE for over 10 years, providing consistency. We have been working in Revit/BIM modeling for over 15 years.

Our History

Wai Cheng's Practice

CPE Structural's founding partner Wai Cheng started his own practice in 1980 after over a decade of work for large structural companies in Vancouver and Toronto, bringing extensive expertise and innovation.

C&V Engineering Established

By 1981, he had added a partner and C&V Engineering was created, which remained in operation until 2003. C&V Engineering provided structural consulting and engineering for diverse building projects.

CPE Formed from C&V Staff

In 2003, C&V Engineering was dissolved, and two independent companies were formed from the staff of C&V; one of these being CPE Structural Consultants Limited. CPE's current partners Chris Palin and Renée Tang both worked for C&V prior to CPE.
