This 80,000sf building includes a sanctuary for 1600 people, a chapel, gymnasium, kitchen, teaching and office areas. The structural steel building features a number of curved surfaces around the sanctuary, natural light and positioning on a wooded site that resulted in the building winning both a Governor General’s Award for Architecture and an Ontario Association of Architects Award of Excellence; in addition it has been featured in publications such as Canadian Architect.
